notes: Thomas Vernon had a 250 acre tract of land surveyed 16 OCT 1702
near Ridley Creek. The property extended on the Providence Road a
short distance above Hinksons Corners. He also received a grant of
land, 625 acres, 3 MAR 1681, deeded from William Penn on that date.

To granddaughter Hannah, wife of Thomas Gibson 20 shillings. To wife Lydia
the remainder of my land in Marlborough, also lot in Chester to be at her
own disposal, also profits of house and land in Providence during life.
To son Nathaniel my plantation in Providence containing 95 acres at wife's
decease.
